The New Vineyard in Papingo

In this video you can see my little vineyard in Papingo filmed on August of 2009. The first 5 vines were planted around Villa Lanassa in the year 2007. In the following year nearly 30 vines of both local (own roots)and of french origin were planted (Debina, Amerikaniko, Mavroudi, Stafida, Ralli, Nevado, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay...). And finally in the spring of 2009, about 100 vines were planted, all of them on grafted rootstocks (R110, SO4) of the following avrietals: Malagouzia(25), Viognier (25), Pinot Noir (50), Riesling (50) and a few Verzami.

Yeah, it's rather misty in the spring and always... mystical ! It's an unforgetabble experience. The solid-rock mountain gives you the impression of a castle made by giants !....
