Kim Il Sung Statue, Pyongyang

The Mansudae Grand Monument is a 20-meter tall statue of Kim Il Sung erected in 1972. For a time it was covered in gold. The statue is flanked by two red granite flags and bronze sculptures. One depicts the anti-Japanese struggle from 1905 until 1945. The other depicts the "victory" in the Korean War.

@kentamitchell I am not talking about particular religious beliefs. I am talking about the actual existence (or otherwise) of a divine Being that created the universe - whatever form that Being took. As for Christianity, how would people 2k years ago have even known of other planets (and we don't yet know if there are other species out there anyway)? I did not say there 100% is a God, by the way. I am saying that it is fairly arrogant to say: "There is no God, end of story".

@craigjsm The universe is +/- 12 billion years old and contains a billion billion stars. Christianity preaches that 2k years ago the Creator sends his only Son to save one species on one planet. Islam preaches 'allah' dictated his full & final revelation to an illiterate tradesman. Both fail the giggle test.
