Nice video,your snow blower seems to handle the snow with no problem.

nice vid. My old blower is an ST504, same HP & width, but -everything- else is smaller. Shorter cutting height, less throughput(cubic feet per hour, or however you choose to measure it), and it would throw less distance.
Also, you may have a differential, mine is just "locked" full time.
I don't like snow chains on pavement, but I had the same traction problems as you. I started running my tires at about 2 PSI and I found I did not need chains often.

Either that snow is incredibly light or that is a damn good 5 hp engine
