Oscar-nominated for her performance in this film, Susan Hayward gives a wonderful rendition of "Happiness is just a thing called Joe". Note: the gal did her own singing in the film!

  • Just got into her movies thru a friend.

One of the best actress's I've seen / along Cher.

    Thanks.

  • Era una mujer muy bella, la mas linda del mundo.

  • Amazing actress who's work stands the trials of time and wins out in every performance. (I hope her films are perserved!) There will never be another Susan Hayward!

  • Susan Hayward is amazing. I just bought some of her movies on lovingtheclassics. People PM me for it all the time, just google it please.

  • @Fegen she was wonderful

  • Susan was a gifted actress she is miss, but her films live on,

  • Susan was a most beautiful soul. We loved her. She was such a great actress. They don't make them like her any more. The studios trained them kept them

Under their wing. They had certain standards of behaviour that was expected. Not like today stars they are thrown to the wolves . And not managed correctly. It's too bad. So many starlets turn up in trouble. Or in bad straights.

  • Susan Hayward is one of my favorites from the 40s and 50s movies. She was very beautiful. And we share a birthday, June 30th.

  • Girl, I have done that stumble too.

  • Looked fabulous in those dresses too!
