  • 1.) This Jabba is INFINITELY more life-like and intimidating than the CGI versions. That's NOT an 'opinion'... it's a plain-as-day FACT.

2.) This Soundtrack is SO much better than the Special Edition.

3.) Obviously the last few seconds are from the RESTORED footage.

Its a reminder of how badly it SUCKS that Lucas refuses to restore the ORIGINALS and only cleans-up the crappy altered version.

    CONCLUSION:

99% of the changes Lucas has made are FAILS!

  • I'd do Oola.

  • The newer ones way better! Well, I don't like either of them, but the woman thing singing in this looks so fake, but the newer CGI one looks great./ But in all fareness I've growen up watching the Speciel Edition.

  • I can't believe I forgot how much more fitting this version of the scene was compared to the 1997 version. Thanks for uploading this.

  • Lucas gets butt hurt because he cant take criticism. We made him rich and now he doesnt even respect the fans.

  • I just watched a white power skinhead band on you tube before coming here, and I have to say that Max Rebo blows them out of the water, everyone start to leave video responses on racial videos on you tube with star wars music clips. That's what I plan on doing.

  • Wait a second. The door opening with the Rancor in it. That scene could have worked if Oola hadn't already been screaming in a way that she was frantically trying to escape from something. Also the Rancor has already seen her by the roar yet the gate isn't open enough for him to actually see her. Inconsistances I tell you!

  • @TheJd3000 I agree but only if she consented. The poor girl went through so much pain and suffering.

  • Every time I watch the film I have to go find this portion of the scene and mute the DVD version of the scene...can't stand that new crap!!

  • I agree, a large portion of the CGI additions to the Trilogy are epic FAILS. The removal of the original song from this scene and the addition of the other creatures is utterly LAME. This song is way more catchy and a huge part of my memories from films is tied into the soundtrack. Even in the 2001 DVD release (where Lucas did the meddling with CGI) you can see Max Rebo is still jamming to THE ORIGINAL BEAT! How retarded is that? Just leave the music alone

  • Greedo never got off a shot, Han didn't telekinetically hover superfast out the way of a blast from his gun. Blue lightsabers don't turn green on the Millenium Falcon (that 1, like Greedo, was totally unforgivable, much as I love George). This musical number is better. Much CGI of the S.E.'s LOOKS like CGI which RUINS them. We don't & never did want additions George, IMPROVEMENTS yes. Additions NO. The transition of the Jedi Choral piece into TROTJ credits music WORKS BETTER. Give us the O.E.'s!

  • this version is the original and alot better than the version you get on cd or record ! can´t find this version on cd :( it is only for the movie !
