I rate Bruce Hornsby & the Range as one of my top 5 Bands alongside Toto, ELO, The Eagles, Journey and Rush. OK that's 6! couldn't leave out Rush lol

I first heard this song in 1987, I got see them in 1987 in the Bay Area, and I became a monster fan of guitarist George Martinelli in 1987 (and as a double bonus, got to see one of my all time favorite bass players, Joe Puerta who I loved in Ambrosia). This band was so killer live. And they are all multi-instrumentalists. I've seen BH a couple of times since and he always is engaging, but nothing that brings down the house like their early shows.

every video ever made which gets to my point. ijust saw it yesterday "forget you tube" mtv is launching its own versionof you tube!! the music industry by going uderground is still alive and well..and will always be first, theres alot of people like me thatare telling mtv to stick their music uta! and go back to the real world! long live you tube! and may it never pander to the sellouts!

@bucky468 yeah, ive seen it on mtv back then if a song was getting radio airplay shooting a video for mtv was mandatory then mtv started creating its own bands and videos and slipping them into the pipeline ,this worked so well they soon had a stranglehold on the entire music industry sqaushing anyone who got in their way then.,milli vanilli had a wardrobe malfunction and despite their efforts to cover it up exposed everything. mtv graduallyt nibbled the "m"out of tv with dumb shows, they have

@mrromantimothy Was there ever a video of "On The Western Skyline"? Maybe I'll have to drop a line at BH's channel & put in a request for it. It must be a Sony-BMG Legacy Recordings thing b/c the Boss & Dylan must have a similar policy like that of BH.
