@xXIJOEIXx and @MegaUnderscore: Adding to that; Spartan-IIs were chosen precisely because they were already genetically perfect, and they also wore the highly-advanced Mjolnir armor.
Spartan-IIIs were vengeful war orphans, who received better augmentations and more efficient training than the S-IIs, but were still individually inferior to the S-IIs due to the fact that 1. their SPI armor was low-quality, and 2. they were on average much less naturally talented than the IIs.
