maybe play it over 30 times. 60-70 times to get it perfect.

i grew up classically with cello and piano and can hear things by ear so i just listened to the song 2 or 3 times to get the idea.

The best advice for any person is...

"If you can sing it, you can play it."

Sing the melody and the underlying tune and try to match what you're playing. Most people can hold a decent tune so use it to your advantage.

This is hardly a tutorial. All you did, was name the chords you use. We could've simply searched elsewhere. Also you spent majority of the video "teaching" the intro/chorus. You barely spent one minute talking about the verse, if you did at all. Keep in mind that there are beginners who watch this video. If we were all able to play by ear, then no one would care to watch this
