The Palenstinian president handed over a formal request to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to admit state of Palestine before his speak to delegates.

@RabinoBoricuaVirtual most jewish religious figures in Israel are anti - Zionists. All of the fathers of the United States have agreed that religion is the most perverted and corrupt system. It leads to ethnic tensions when multiculturalism is ignored or even supressed. If Israel is not willing to give a voice and proper rights to it's very large arabic population thn the UN has to recognize Palestine as an existing state. It is no longer an option. The Palestinians watch the game of bomb tennis and suffer the terrorist attacks of Israel. So which terrorist organization would you expect them to choose, when they have only two desperate choices available to them?
They choose the third option and give him a hero's welcome. They choose President Abbas and place their hopes in him.
Then guess who vetoes Abbas? :(

that the usa is against a palestinian state should preclude them as fair or impartial negoitators in the peace process. the un security council is as undemocratic as nazi germany there should be one vote for each country, not a right to veto the rights of others

@elanainisrael Your points don't refute the core issue which was " (mostly) non mideastern european zionist jewish immigrants established a jewish racist colony on a land where the majority where neither jewish or zionists." Jewish terrorist gangs where ethnically cleansing the Palestinians way before 1948 war.Arab dictator regimes (whom DON'T REPRESENT THE PALESTINIANS) refused the partition because it was divided unfairly, it gave majority of the land to (at that time) minority jews.
