I did in fact write a letter to the deparment of Children and Families describing the several issues I had with my stay..including a nurse who tried to "unweave" the stitches in my wrists (110) whom could not find a pair of scissors to remove the badages (i had never had stiches removed, and i questioned if she new what she was doing)..fortunately a part time paramedic in training was on duty and removed me from the open floor to a private room and cut the stiches free (if you read this thanks)

Very informative & helpful...I personally was baker acted several years ago after a suicide attempt..I have to say that I was baker acted and held for 72 hours.. A senior Psychiatrist at the facility was out..the person covering her absence, wanted her to see me instead of him..I did not care for the way he spoke to me..they had no one else to see me and I was told if I did not sign myself in they would re-bakeract me. I feel my rights were violated..this should be shown in Baker act facilities
