The Dawn played by John Sheahan and The Dubliners in 2011

Couldn't resist editing this tune out on its own - one of my all time favourite tunes! And I think, probably, one of the first I learnt from John going all the way back to 1991, when we first met in Inverness and went on to Aberdeen. Two great gigs but mighty music sessions followed which were far longer than the duration of the concerts ;-) Great to hear this tune again in 2011 in Blackpool. I love the tune and do play it but NOT the incredible version John does going away up the finger board, some things in life I have never even set out to try and attempt to do and to play this well would be one such thing. Wonderful music and it never fails to amaze me to see talented professionals make something so complex look so very easy (tho it probably is easy to them).
