I am the son of a Macedonian immigrant to Canada. My mother is Canadian of English, French and Irish ancestry. I consider myself to be Canadian above all else and if I had to chose between Macedonia and Canada I would choose Canada, but really, Macedonia is a great country! I hope for the day all Macedonians might live together, in peace with their neighbors. The Balkans need no more nationalism to tear them appart, nor suspicion nor the satisfication of old grudges. Let's learn to love again.
