This is one way to get your parrots to forage feed - this is a type of environmental enrichment. I explain how i set up my playgym to enhance mental and physical stimulation. these are my baby budgies learning how to feed independantly. the playgym has has sand/grit on the bottom. i have added a branch, wood, bark, native australian seed pods like banksia and gum nuts, and i have put bird seed into the crevices and just scattered it around. forage feeding makes birds brains tick... its a natural thing they often miss out on in captivity.
