    Because they think it is more civilized and highly evolved to beat each other to death with rocks.

    Guns are tools; no more, no less.

    I could never understand a human being that could look at, say, a pneumatic roofing nailer and say "Eek...that thing looks scary, like it might hurt me or somebody else. It scares me, I'd rather hire somebody else to use that thing." That strikes me as the worst kind of spoiled, sniveling laziness. Like you've forgotten how to use your own hands and learned to associate those that do with danger and fear.
