Ill tell you all what this song is about. Its about a person in love with a person who does not want you back. "Should I keep chasing pavements even if it leads no where." So chasing pavement is deciding should you keep going after the person despite them saying no. I build myself up and fly in circles, finally could this be." sensing somethings changed and thinking that you might get with the person even though its not going to happen. This song is about nonreciprocating love.
