The theme of the 2009 Air Show at the "Planes Of Fame" Air Museum in Chino California was " A Salute To Grumman Aircraft". Here a flight of Grumman aircraft make a fly-by. Leading the formation is a J2F Duck. On his left wing is an F6F Hellcat and an F7F Tigercat. on the right wing is a F4F Wildcat and an F8F Bearcat.

  • Thye biplane leading the formation is actually a Grumman F3F "Flying Barrel" pre-WWII fighter. Notice that there is no float underneath.

  • LOVE that sound!
