  • Beautiful.

I think these chord progressions were used in Paul Lansky's computer music version, which was then used in Radiohead's song Idioteque.

  • WHAT A VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fuck radiohead

  • Nina Stemme is the best Isolde of our present time. Not since the 20th century's Kirsten Flagstad, Birgit Nilsson & Astrid Varnay has there been such a perfect voice for Isolde. Her Wagner repertoire is excellent. Nothing more to say. If you get a chance, go see Nina Stemme perform opera live. The best Wagnerian soprano currently singing!

  • this woman is underrated as hell. what a beautiful voice

  • So, this is the grand-pappy of Idiotque? Crazy!!

  • last weekend (14. 03. 10.) my friend and i were in the staatsoper in vienna listening to her (as we are great fans of stemme) as senta in der fliegende holländer and we had to state that her timbre became somewhat darker. my friend stated that she would better be an isolde rather than senta... i had no objections.

Okay, most of you guys must love nilsson as isolde (just as i do) but you also have to admit, this was not inferior, either...

  • Nina Stemme is my favourite :)

    Her singing touches my heart

  • Very nice. But one cannot forget the No. 1 : Birgit Nilsson.

  • I had heard before she kinda sounded like Jessye Norman, but I can´t say I agree...

but god, this woman has an amazing beautiful voice!

  • @Rockykratter

That´s like comparing Einstein with dumbheads.

  • I've been privileged to hear Nina Stemme perform this wonderful piece live at the Royal Opera in Stockholm. It was an absolutely fantastic experience!
