88 Turbo coupe with SVO T3 at 22lbs and exhaust only. Was running very lean up top, which explains the low hp number.

  • All the TC had done was a complete turbo back exhaust with a gutted cat and an SVO T3 with the boost set at 22lbs.

Car was gutted and stripped and crushed. It was way to far gone to be worth saving.

  • maybe it wasn't worth it to you.........

  • I was sticking screwdrivers through structural pieces of metal. I tried to sell just the body, but no one wanted it.

  • Yes, that was at the wheels. It was running real lean up top 14:1 or so. I changed the fuel pump and put on a AFPR and the car picked up much more up top. Never took it to the dyno.

  • I'm having the same problem.. trunk is startting to rot out and just things here and there are going little by little...wonderful cars tho

  • i hope you kept the motor. lol

  • what did you use to tune it??

  • they are not inaccurate. The dyno records the actual whp numbers. What your referring to is it is inaccurate compared to on road whp numbers. The dyno is not Inaccurate. You are not asking the power output while driving down the street. Your asking what the power is in a room with a fan on it under boost pressure. only a complete moron would take it to a dyno garage, and expect it to record power outputs of that on a cold brisk morning heading to work!

  • the stock fuel pump on these cars will handle almost 150psi.. you didnt have to replace it.. and the stock injectors will handle maybe 24psi. all you need to do is put an adjustable fuel regulator on it.. then u can set the fuel pressure... i have a 88tc with 349rwhp.. with stock intercooler, bosch bypass valve, 2.5" exhaust, intake, ported upperand lower intakes, somewhere around a .400 lift cam..(bought it already with the cam).. and im running 18 psi.. also light head porting

  • so what kind of work is done? whats a pretty hefty torque number. get it running good and bring that hp up!

  • i have a 88tc.and i was wondering wat mods did u do to yours.??
