a not often seen black and white interview from 1965 ,actor Robert Shaw talking about the "Battle of the Bulge" war movie...due to age of film, the soundtrack runs away from the lip synch in places.you may have to turn your sound up a bit.

  • Speaking as an American, I know he wasn't supposed to be sympathetic, but I was a kid and saw him on TV, I thought he was the coolest bad guy. Thanks for sharing this.

  • Robert Shaw is the best actor ever. And writer, lovely man

  • Robert was a truly outstanding and charismatic actor. He outshone others

by his sheer presence and talent. Sad that he suffered more than his

fair share in his private life.

  • Thanks for uploading! He was always a favorite of mine when I was a young teen and I wish he could have made a lot more pictures. I love the Internet! Just to get a small morsel of info back then you had to do so much research! And to have seen actual video footage other than films would have been a rarity.

  • my god that smile :D

  • Fabolous actor.

  • @TheJollymusketeer "The Price of Sucess" by French was the worst book, which could have ever been written about Shaw. French was a former agent of Shaw's who had an enormous falling out with Shaw. The Bio, which all TRUE fans love is Robert Shaw: More Than a Life by Karen Carmean. It is out of print but still can be found new or used. It is also ACCURATE, as opposed to French's piece of garbage.

  • WOW!! Where did this come from? Looks like part of a television news program. Awesome to see Robert share about his days in BOTB. Left this earth and his admirers way too early at 51. No one like him now. All spoiled with glam and sham. Well, perhaps Daniel Day-Lewis comes close. Thanks for posting this real gem.

  • One of the best actors there were and one of the best actors there will ever be.

  • I Love His Voice!
