From 11am we will be LiVE from Wimbledon Seventh-day Adventist Church. Join us online to ask Pr Sam Neves whatever question you may have about God, Christianity, Jesus, Church, Easter, Resurrection, Heaven or Hell. He will also do a talk on the following theme:

"There are so many people that dislike religion for all the evil attributed to it. We all have reason to reject religious oppression and indeed we should. It is easy to comprehend the fear of going to church, even when we look at all the good that has been done by the followers of Jesus throughout the centuries, such as the abolitionist movement, education, health and many others. However, the last thing Jesus came to do was to start a church so how come we've got some many religions and denominations today? Does Christianity have anything to say to our world or should it just shut up and die? What about the Adventist movement -- does it have a role to play at these times? What is it and why should we join? Come and explore these serious questions with Pr Sam as he tears down political, traditional and dogmatic walls that have been put up throughout the decades."

Education, the way the church kept the masses ignorant and illiterate for over a millennium?

As for people following the ways of jesus of nazareth, that's a complete pot of sh*t. They don't follow the rules, they eat shellfish, work on the Sabbath (which is Friday), They horde wealth and crave "stuff". They don't give up their belongings to feed the pour. It's sad that the greatest Guru on the topic of love& tolerance has been reduced to being a man-god zombie. Please actually READ the bible.

For abolitionist, yea a small group, while many other Christians had no problem keeping slaves.
