黎巴嫩首款F1賽車將亮相北美車展

大衛．弗雷曼（David Frem）是一名黎巴嫩的26歲學生，為了完成童年的夢想，獨自耗費9萬美元和4年的時間設計，打造出一款獨特的F1原型車。弗雷曼覺得為了自己和國家，付出9萬美元很值­得。

這款取名弗雷曼（Frem）的F1超級跑車以一部福斯的2公升16氣閥引擎做為動力來源，據稱最高時速可達200公里。木質的內裝和金屬支架成為弗雷曼F1跑車的原型。

大衛．弗雷曼說：「 這一開始只是一個夢想，然後我把它做成一個小模型，最後就變成你眼前所看到的這部車。在很艱苦的環境下，我花了4年將它打造完成。黎巴嫩從2005年開始就經歷許多的戰爭­和政治上的紛擾，還有很多複雜的事。但是不管發生甚麼事，我們都有堅強的意志達成自己的夢想。」

弗雷曼已經獲選參加明年在底特律車展舉辦的米其林國際汽車設計挑戰賽（Michelin Design Challenge），弗雷曼表示，身為一名汽車設計師，他會盡全力讓這款原型車能夠上路。
