Birth by sleep is out now so you can find out yourself but I've already finished Ventus story and I've seen what happened so this is not a spoiler alert unless you dont have birth by sleep.

roxas looks like ventus because ventus loses his heart after his battle with vanitas so sora lets ventus's heart rest in HIS untill it heals and re joins his body and when sora and roxas were separated, ventus might have stayed with roxas, not with sora, that would also explain why roxas has emotions unlike other nobodies

but what I dont get is,

1. ven was sleeping in that castle aqua left him in, which became castle of oblivion in the future. sora has gone there but never found him.

2. what will happen if ven ever does wake up and make an apperance with roxas still around?

or what if aqua and terra come back and mistake roxas for ven?

this story is so confusing! @.@

so confused cuz there r so many theories xD i only played 2 kh games i didnt finish bbs but i finished kh 358 2 days so i figured ven and roxas are the same cuz the beginning of kh 3582 the guy asked roxas if he remembers his true name -___________________- but i only played 2 khs so idk but i wish ven/roxas were the same T_T

Roxas IS both Sora and Ventus. Roxas's weapons, rebirth and oblivion, are light and dark, combined makes the X (Pronouned keyblade). Mix up Roxas and yoi get Sora and a leftover X. X=Ultimate blade made out of light and dark. Ven's heart combined with Sora's then Ventus was REMADE with his heart (Sora and Himself) created Roxas. Ventus is alive though.

i think ven's heart to over sora's noBODY when sora became a heartless, so that's why his nobody looked like ven/roxas. they are the same people just roxas didn't have his memories.

when roxas entered the castle oblivion he fell weak because his body(the one locked away) was calling out to his heart

if you watch the spoiler video of kh 3d, you will see at the end of the video, braig is standing in front of xehanort, and says "what is this? HAS YOUR HEART RETURNED?" at the end of the final chapter, (kh bbs) xehanort is sent to radiant garden by aqua. he is then asked what his name is and he says "xehanort." it is actually terra who is making a plan of his own. i know this because when aqua defeats xehanort in the final chapter, the darkness is released from him, creating the first heartless.
