10 am and its HOT!! Atleat 85 Degrees. Flipping a Berkley Power Hawg into some slop. Fishing it on a 7'6" WMS Custom Rods Flipping Stick built on a Kistler rod blank, a Shimano Chronarch spooled with 50lb Power Pro braided line.

  • By the way, the shirt is long gone. Long story short, It was kindof a luck charm. Had lots of good fishing days with that shirt.

  • TheFishermansworld to answer your question on the rod. The rod is a custom build with a spiral guide wrap. The spiral guide wrap 1. reduces line twist, 2. reduces rod twist when setting the hook, 3. keeps the line from touching the rod blank ( look closely at a conventional rod when next time you set the hook, the rod actually twists and yes on most rods the line actually touches the blank) 3. reduce rod weight because less guides are needed.
