Fishing the middle reaches of the River Dronne, catching Barbel at last! (video 13)

I go fishing on the lower reaches of the River Dronne in France and finally manage to catch my target species, the Barbel. Not huge by any ones standards but nice fish.

What rod, reel and mainline are you using mate?

okuma epix pro, 6lb mainline (the brabel and chub do not grow big in their) and my good old john wilson avon quivver. Im actualy going bag their on saturday for two weeks.

im just using the float rod setup. no need for a quivver tip. because when a barbel has got it. you know about it !!

Barbel are so beautiful-does not matter about size, as long as they are put back, they will grow into large ones in time-Larger fish seem to be much wilier-I do not fish myself, but know a man who does-and Barbel are much prized.

nice barble m8 ima respond a vid for whn i go 2 ma local country park i catch well loads of perch and roach thr but there quite small but a fish is a fish ^.^
