How To Mod You Metal Dance Pad To Be More Sensitive And How To Fix A Metal Dance Pad Part 2 of 2

This is a basic video chowing how to Mod and fix your metal DDR Dance pads that Use these sensors.

Please note I take no responsibility in your error modding your dance pad if you screw up. It worked for me, and if you do it right it will work for you.

Please note that this repair and mod only works ON DANCE PADS THAT USE THESE SENSORS.

- l.e.d. Wire Removing/Panel Direction
- Sensor Position/Sensor Moving
- Foil sensitivity Mod

@dabiggone22 make sure the wires are still attached to the sensors or the wires aren't destroyed somewhere.

the sawdering looks good on the sensors but i have no idea how to get in the mat bcauz they sawdered everything together any other suggestions?? :(

i did the sawderin looks fin i just dont kno how to get inside the pad bcuz its all fkn wood nd theres really no way to open die to the fact that the dumb company saldered the pad together..-_-

@92Romy92 It sounds like you didn't use the right kind of tape or the tape correctly. You HAVE to use double sided heavy duty tape. If you use duct tape it will come off and break apart. Open up the panel and make sure the foil isn't tearing apart or slopping over onto the panel.

@xkonsentox Lol ok ;D I did the foil mod today btw! It worked fine in the beginning, but when I played again few hours ago it didnt work that good anymore :o if I press an arrow, it registers nog 1 time but sometimes more. It's really anoying, cuz I tried everything. The wires on the sensors are also connected an stuff.. Maybe it's too old, and used to much :o Dont know.. I dont know what to do bout it right now :( I think im going to save some money to buy a new one unfortunately..

@92Romy92 No problem dood! Hope everything work out for you. The worse thing that happens is internal damaged which is nearly impossible to fix without destroying the pad in the process. But I am sure doing what you just said will be a major help to you! :) Good luck!

@xkonsentox Im going to do the foil mod,put it in a warmer environment for a while and buy a new control box. I hope this works! If not.. than i will have to buy a new one :( Thanks for your time and information! It helped me alot :)
