The live action movies are nothing more than Paul Anderson's fanfic where he wrote in a completely mary sue character(Alice) who besides making the entire story all about her and everyone else being supporting characters also serves as personal fan service to him since Alice is played by non other than his wife!

The whole movie franchise is nothing more than an excuse for Anderson to make a series of movies where he gets to see his wife in skimpy clothing kicking ass, he probably gets off to it

@anonymous243124 - Still that didn't stop most people for going into his movies. First RE movie I liked atleast, since it didn't follow the games, but it did have that sort of scary atmosphere, tensions between the people, and more to the point it was still a horror-survival movie. Second one, dont remember hating it, but it did started to show some disappointment. Third one went all "wtf" from there. 4th one was ok. Although I love Leon and claire, the RE degen. was... boring
