I have seen convicts breeding in a tank with an oscar and and red eared slider. They don't care he had to have had 100 if he had one it was nuts.
Great set up none the less did you build the Dye or did you buy it? Look great none the less

lol it was smart to get the devil away from the convicts.usually devils dominates the tank but its all in size and aggression. at least it stood his ground

i use to have convict cichlids but they wouldnt stop breeding so i got rid of em and now have angelfish

yeah you know the blue guy in there well now he is as big as the convicts and let me tell you he keeps them from breeding like they wont even try to fight him even when they are mateing now the blue one must be some kind of true monster if he can stop convicts forn mateing when a red devil couldnt and red devils are mean sons of bitches trust me but the blue guy was fighting off the red devil with the cons

well i guess hes not blue in here but the tiny one lol now he is all blue with bright yellow around his fins and dark blue streaks on him

yes he ruled the tank till the convicts came then he held his own for about a week and a half then i had to sell him back to the shop cause the cons were kicking the shit out of him but i give him credit he was a tough as nails red devil. he made me proud. realy didnt want to sell him back but at the time i didnt have anyother tanks now i have a 20 long and a 10

yes the male by and inch and a half. and the female by almost an inch let me tell you what with that rock wall it is a bitch getting a fish out of that tank
