With all my sprouts, I add some ocean minerals to increase their trace mineral content. I like MASU brand, about $10 per lb, but that will go a long way. I add about a tablespoon to a gallon of water (350 ppm is good on a TDS meter). I soak in this solution, and after rinsing with water, I use more as a final rinse. You do not need a lot of this in soil applications, but this is a most important ingredient for good health. For your grassfed animals, use SEA-90 on your fields to resist pests ETC
