This roller thing he built reminds me of the generator that Edward Leedskalnin built (the guy who built Coral Castle). It seems logical that if the magnetic energy is funneled into a vortex, the center could be harmonized to the earth's magnetic field and everything within the "vortex" would be no longer under the influence of geomagnetism and possibly gravity too.
