I try the method of using wet sanding to remove clear coat scratches instead of the normal 3 step buffing methods

  • Is that first thing rubbing compound? I can use any rubbing compound right?

What's the second wax for? Can't I just use the 2.0 wax?

    Thanks and great video btw.

  • Yep, that's right, and yes you can use that but you will get better results if you compound it first, thanks!

  • @saabkyle04 Well I was thinking about using the rubbing compound and then the 2.0 wax. I don't know what the 2nd bottle is for.

  • Oh I gotcha, it's a cleaner wax which has a little bit of grit as well as some wax to shine it. it will just help polish out the scratches from the compound a little better, then finish it with the 2.0, all up to you though, that's just how I do it haha

  • Good Video, showed the proper steps to remove scratches properly. Dave's not so good at making cars look better, he does do a good job destroying them though,

  • Yay, Saabkyle04 heard of Davidsfarm!
