R.I.P Traliee

This is a very strong video. It makes me cry every time I watch it. Traliee was a wonderful horse, its been almost a year since her death and I thought it was about time I pulled myself together and made a video of her. She was so sweet and caring and will be missed by all of us greatly.
Traliee was put down as she had mites in her feathers, she was constantly stamping and she made them bleed. She was scared of having her feathers touched by the cream, clippers, scissors, or spray. And so we all decided it was time to put her out of her misery. She wouldnt let us touch them and no matter how much we tried the situation was only getting worse. We even tried sedation but we nearly lost her by doing that. Traliee was 30+ years old and had a great life. We miss her greatly. xx

i'm sorry to hear about your loss. i've lost a horse too, more than two eyars ago, adn it's still hard to think about her. Her name was Corona, and after i spent over a month looking after her her fracture in the leg and her depression from not working wasn't getting better, so she was rehabilitated enough to become a companion horse, but i still feel like i've lost her forever. a small part of me understands your pain, although your pain is unique and will always be fragile.

I just read this hun, I am so sorry you lost her but think of all the good times you had together. She crossed rainbows bridge and is now looking down on you with much love. I think my horse has feather mites, she constantly kicks the ground but she will let us touch etc. Thanks for sharing this hun. x
