A coat of polish every now and then seems to work, mind you I don't normally drive her like this, if you saw us on the road you would wonder where my "Hat"is.

This was filmed under "controlled" conditions with no people or property to damage, and I don't normally drive her like this it was only done for a documentary re the XJ6 Jaguar, and as you can see they handle extremely well particularly when you consider this is a two ton car stock standard and 21 years old! this car is easier to drive than much smaller cars because you can see where the front is and all round driving vision is excellent they are beautiful cars inside and out!

@s54bmw , Ours is actually a 1985 not '86 as I posted, she is a Soveriegn and is in great condition for age all is original, I will post the interior soon, glad you like the Jaguar's they are great cars, ours has now done 218,000km and 60,000km since we bought her 5 years ago, never broken down does not leak any real amounts of oil or burn much. Too many Myths out there about these cars, put me off buying for years but now I know if you buy one thats been looked after there is nothing to fear!

s54bmw , Glad you like Jaguars, yes they are great cars very well made , don't believe what is said about oil leaks etc.......I owned a HQ Holden when it was 4 years old, treated it like gold and it was the mpost unreliable car I have ever owned had to be tuned every month or it would'nt start and it fell to bits on me! In contrast this Jaguar has been the most reliable car I have owned, and far superior in every way to a Holden. Don't forget the new version of this car is $180,000!
