I was just thinking about the modern technologies, listing them off in my head, wondering who made the greatest thing last? I had the transistor/microchip stuck in my head. It was all tech created/industrialized fairly modernly, and since the US was established, We've had a greater concentration of great minds, mostly due to the economy we used to have, freeing more up for "thinking work". We have a short history, and none of the excess now, but we got a lot done when we did.

  • @limericklad2000 or they hate the BBC ... or possibly only dislike science ... or their finger slipped ... someone who loves science might think this... not me...

  • reality check.

  • @geoffmthomas 4 Creationists? Just making a random guess. BTW I'm loving this series.

  • It would have been invented one way or another, eventually. The question is, was our discovering it, for the best. For one i think it was, we stopped the nazi's in their tracks. None have been used since. Better then being blind sided by one coming from the other side. I think that is the hard truth.

  • He is more agrivated about not being humble than causing a cathastrophe and I don't know if that's good or bad or if I like it or don't like it, but by God, I respect it.

  • It must be difficult to create and be responsible for the destruction it could cause. It's surely a break to the speed of creation. to be snob is a break too.
