I won't deny that Christian anti-semitism had an impact and that was what shaped Europe's overall opinion of the Jews, however in Germany specifically there were other reasons- before you tell me to open my 'god damn eyes' I've studied A level German history from the 1800s to WW2, so with all due respect I know what I'm talking about.

Then you must know of the direct aid that was provided to the Nazis by the Catholic Church.

You obviously didn't pay much attention in A levels.

Seeing as I got a B I think I might have paid a bit of attention. All I'm saying is that the holocaust wasn't just the result of 2000 years of anti semitism from the Catholic Church- and I'm aware of the help given by the church to the Nazis, but after the loss of the First World War and the Treaty of Versailles Germany became resentful, desperate and angry- this continued for about 10 years and was made worse in the 1930s depression, Hitler came along saying exactly what people wanted to hear.

Then you are blind to the fact that the focal point he capitalized on was Catholic antisemitism. The fact is that is hit boiling point BECAUSE of years of bullshit spouted by the church (like Blood Libel).

hahahaha, that last person said atheism will bring about WW3? But it's Christians (not all of them) who are pushing the building of the third temple in Jerusalem over the Temple Mount... and that definately won't lead to WW3 because Jews and Muslims have always lived in peace together in Israel.

Just like today we have the BNP who blame the recession and all of Britain's problems on immigrants and other cultures and religions in Britain- mainly Muslims, however Nick Griffin isn't a racist because of his faith- he claims to be a Christian but clearly isn't, his beliefs stem from the lower class social climate of Britain, unintelligent people who ultimately will always blame the minority ethnic groups for their own problems.
