Custom painted and custom built interior details. DCC to operate interior and mars tail light. The interior light looks brighter in the video, but it can have intensity changed in DCC. All videos were shot with the skytop running in regular DC. F0=Interior light. F1=tail light solid when stopped and mars when moving forward

  • How did you get lighting added to your Sky Top? If I might add, the conductor you put in the car looks kind of tall for the interior (at least from that angle), is he made to HO scale proportions?

  • You know, if the REAL train took off that fast, that guy standing inside would have gone crashing up against the glass at the back!

  • Superb! Show more of your lay-out!

  • that looks like a cn version, with the extra windows.

  • Excellent! I plan to do the same thing with the Walthers Skydome.

Hi, most of these cars are Walthers' Twin Cities Hiawatha. You can use the 2 coach types, tap grill, 48 seat diner and super dome from them (and occasional express baggage). You will need the following cars in brass: 12 section touralux (2) a couple of sleepers, a baggage dormitory and of course a observation sleeper like this Skytop. I will post one like this for auction in 3 weeks. Soho, Oriental and Palace Car Co made them in brass. There other economical solution.
