It's good to see ingenuity at work. Please don't take this in a negative manner, but if you do a little research on the process of vibrating materials out, you will find you are going about it the wrong way. (must spread this over several comments :) ) ...

Many people do it by hand. I have, it is good exercise. Exercise is good for your health. Good health means you will live longer. Have I said enough. Don't you yourself get exercise? But lets go to your response. You talk about filtering peas and canola. The video is about sifting soil. Your argument makes no sense.

All praise Thomoco - please forgive me for adapting your excellent design and creating Son of Sid - named in your honour and viewable at Nifty-Stuff.

Son of Sid does not have the superb three port separation feature and is more suited to smaller production runs.

There is no flattery greater than imitation.

Hi, Thomoco. this is a QUALITY invention!!!
It's just the kind of thing I need for my "new allotment". The soil is not too good at the moment. It's got quite a lot of metal (rusty); glass (broken and sharp!) and stones, well... (stoney), lol. In short, it needs a damn good "Sidding", but I don't have a Sid:0( and wouldn't know how to begin building one. So my question is. Do you have any drawings with measurements or photo's of Sid in stages of building?
