Final Year
Sketch was a project conceived by Clare Donegan (now Outta Place) and Helen Knowles (Burnley Council). It was a 3 year arts project funded by the Big Lottery. Sketch delivered workshops with young people from Stoops Estate, Burnley Wood and Stoneyholme and Daneshouse. The young people worked throughout each summer in their chosen disciplines eg: break-dance, drama, circus-skills to name but a few. They also gained accreditation in the form of the Arts Award.
At the end of every summer the young people showcased their work at the Burnley Community Festival.
