BACKUP CARS:
#33-Clint Bowyer (wrecked in 3rd Practice)
#48-Jimmie Johnson (wrecked in 4th Practice)

DRIVER CHANGE:
#27-Todd Bodine (replacing Kirk Shelmerdine)

EDIT: This is likely the only time this year I will use this grid format (unless I'm running way behind schedule). Driver photos and car manufacturer logos will return in Friday's Daytona 500 grid and qualifying speeds will be back at California the week after. :)

@nascarvan No worries; I have two more new formats to debut in the next two weeks: the Daytona 500 grid will again have driver photos and manufacturer logos while the Fontana one will bring back qualifying speeds. :)

Brock, here's the prospects for the go or go homers....

Michael Waltrip: Can make it in on time if any of the top 3 qualifers or Bobby Labonte races way into the field.

Reed Sorenson: Can make it in on time if any three of those four above drivers race their way in.

All others must race way into field.
