that was cool i like it .now when they threw in it in forward as it was already moving backwards that must have been a very big strain on that general engine but the general engines are one of the lighter engines so unless that was edited by disney to look like it was doing that? i wounder what would happen if that did that with one of the big heavyer steam engines of what the effects of that kind of strain would do

One of my favorite parts of the movie has always been watching those big drivers spin, and seeing the locomotives muscling around and kicking cars; this was raw, solid, old-fashioned railroading at its finest!

actually the Lafayette played the Yohnah yes it did and it is not a replica it was the real one and it is still able to run at the B&O today because it was fired up on steam day
