  • @4321micro

He's using a VJ program called Arkaos to manipulate pictures or movies by using the computer keyboard you can affect pics, movies or effects to any keys then play it live, the monitor near him reflect what he do on the keyboard... hope it can help you ;)

  • @4321micro It doesnt matter, he is the Man!, he made it all happen and he is there with everyone on the performance, he didnt have to be there he is Jean Michel Jarre, but he did it anyways. haha

  • Exactement le jarre aux antipodes de JMJ

  • One of my worst souvenirs of JMJ shows.

we waited all the afternoon to hear something that we were not prepared to hear :-)

All these fucking remixes had never been broacasted before and it was a kind of "choc" for me because I hate this style.

In fact it's not JMJ at all :-)

  • This concert was actually quite innovative. The music may not be to everyone's taste, but was a cross between concert and multi-artist festival, a cross between original music and remixes, and it was more light-hearted and fun than JMJ often is, due to celebrating WC victory. How many artists dare putting on a big event where themselves are not in focus, share the stage with lots of artists, perform remixes not originals... a remix festival based on JMJ..... that's really quite innovative.

  • @4321micro Jarre is actually "playing" a software called Jarkaos which is a live image manipulation software. His fingers push random keys on the computer keyboard and each key pressed triggers an effect/layer/manipulation in the image on the computer screen in front of him. His video feed was shown on screens to the audience. Video DJing one could say.

  • heheheh play in the computer ;)

  • not nearly as good as the essential!!! I hate these remixes, because they always ruin nearly perfect songs!!! But i thing it might have been better to play with a usual keyboard because it's incredible that it was possible to play real music only with keypad form computer in 1998!!! I'm happy he turned back to his usual kind of concerts like the one in Monaco...

  • playback jarre show.
