My question is, since the Zi6 shoots in 720p HD, why are the videos I've seen shot with it on youtube not showing up with the "watch in HD" link?

Well, the Zi6 has a VGA setting too, so maybe they recorded using that? Or maybe they compressed the video before they uploaded it? The video I shoot with the Zi6 show up on YouTube with the watch in high quality link... like the one on this page.

I heard the zi6 suffers from a sporadic pausing problem, is that true?

climbed this 2 days ago at 6:30pm couldnt really see anything at the top so was a waste of time climbing 509 steps lol

@spencernolanritz Yes, I believe they asked for a small donation to the cathedral to do the climb.

I just walked up yesterday. I have been a runner all my life and I had to take a few minutes at the top to catch my breath.

Nice view though. And the way down seemed to take forever as well.

Because when you upload it straight to youtube or don't use a program that can edit in HD it will compress it into a flash or VGA video format and show the in HQ.
