One of my favorite things to do is to take pictures with my digital camera and turn them into 3D images -- the kind where you use red and blue 3D glasses to see them. It's surprisingly easy and really fun.
I enjoyed the video but I dont understand the purpose? i.e. my friends wil have to wear 3D glasses to real the benefits of the image if I have it hanging on my wall?
hello sir, i have made red and cyan 3d glasses but its not working on 3d picture and video.... i want to know the reason why its happening to me.... plz explain me..and let me know how i can correct this mistake
When u are taking the 2 pictures, are u always pointing the subject of interest in both or u are just shifting the cam (and pointing a new different point)? looks like a stupid question but moving from close views to panorama, the difference could be huge.
This is great! I've been taking stereo/3D images for years but digital stereo cameras aren't affordable, yet. It's cheaper to tape two cameras together and hit the buttons at once. This is a great tutorial. Programs that automatically do the work just guess at alignment - and fail. Sure, this is a little work but you can get awful darn accurate. The thing to keep in mind is that it takes practice to shoot the pictures that'll work. The shortcuts out there give passable results. Passable stinks!
Cool Vid, i like it, thumbs up!!

Great tutorial but I have a question:
