It's funny because I noticed a similar problem with my iPhone 3GS. I got a replacement phone due to water damage. So the lady goes here you go. Everything went good. And the sleep/wake button on the replacement phone was either more indented or it was not as "tall". I can't really feel it click when I press it all the time. But it's usable, just a little bit annoying after I realized it.

that is weird, the sleep/wake button on my touch is easy to push on the right side but the left is really hard to push and the middle is medium. maybe this is because the touch sleep wake is on the left not the right.

same thing happens to me on my itouch's standby button. the left side gives but the right side don't. i dunno why but it is on a perfect flat laying. i dont get it

i think the home button is lower on the left side on all the iphones on my its lower on the left side on my aunts iphone its lower on the left side now a new white iphone is coming to me and i'll check it out
