Is this Boots of Spanish Leather or Girl From the North Country? This is why the dylan/cash version is much better.

Dylan's original recorded versions of both songs had almost exactly the same guitar part. And the Dylan/Cash version, while I love the artists individually, sucked. The best country-style version by far is by Ramblin' Jack Elliott, and as far as I know, he didn't ever record the whole thing.

I have been trying all day to get that intro picking right but I can't seem to do it. it looks easy but it isn't. To my ear you have it completely right. Could you please post the intro slowed down (a lot) with the camera on your picking fingers? With thanks.

fabulous picking especially the intro is a killer, sometimes a little bit jerky in the rythm but overall a good one.
