LAUDERHILL — A Fort Lauderdale man has been accused of being the foul-mouthed, Santa-hat wearing passenger who was caught on video last week arguing with a Broward county bus driver and then smashing the bus' windshield with a rock.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the mother of Demetrius Vidale, 19, turned her son in to authorities Thursday night.

She was among those who saw news accounts showing surveillance video of the bus incident, the Sheriff's Office said.
Vidale is facing charges of launching a missile into a vehicle and criminal mischief.

Earlier this week, the Broward Sheriff's Office released security video of a passenger wearing a Santa hat ordered off the bus for refusing to stop shouting out profanities inside the bus. Cameras rolled as he shouted obscenities at the driver and then got off the bus.

Once outside, the person is seen picking up a rock and then smashing the vehicle's windshield.

Deputies released the video to the media, hoping someone from the public would recognize the teen.

According to investigators, several people called in tips to Crime Stoppers after seeing the surveillance images. Vidale was booked into the Broward Main jail and was being held on a $7,500 bond.

There's an epidemic of black on white violent crimes currently out of control in America and the media is refusing to report on it. Some of the crimes are so horrible, it's shocking to witness the media ignoring these events.. If this happened in Iraq or Mexico, we'd be hearing about it every day. An average of over 1 million violent crimes are committed by black Americans against white Americans every day despite blacks being outnumbered by whites 5 to 1 ( whites-60%, blacks-13%)


If they name the criminal as being white and it's repeated over and over and even lists their being white in the headlines, you can be sure it will be on every national news station whether FOX, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, CBC, PBS, BBC, Al Jazeera, France 24, etc. the system is the same.

@LUVJONES305 , it may seem that way by the way media ignores many stories, but then will focus on others. This always happens with black and white racism issues. From a black perspective, it's hard to put aside what you've been told all your life about the "white devil". But much of it are lies pushed by racist jews who control all media &want to cause 'divide & conquer' problms between races & religions.
