The "bouncing man" scene from Disney's 1961 classic comedy, "The Absent-Minded Professor" starring Fred MacMurray. Watch as Professor Brainard (MacMurray) and his girlfriend, Betsy (Nancy Olson) trick the evil Alonzo Hawk (Keenan Wynn) into trying out the professor's "flubberized" shoes. Everyone from the fire department to the local fishing club can't stop Hawk from bouncing higher and higher until Hawk's son, Biff, calls in the "calvary" (the Medfield College football team) to "pile on" his hapless father.
this movie is such a classic

It sure is! One of my favorites from when I was a kid. I'll download some more scenes when I get the chance.

I wonder if you noticed - The Fire Chief is played by Ed Wynn, Keenan Wynn's father.

I did. Ed Wynn also had a role in the 1963 sequel, "Son of Flubber." In that movie, Ed plays the county extension agent who discovers that Professor Brainard's "flubber gas" has caused the county's fruits and vegetables to grow into giants.

@54Snickers that would be the way to abolish world hunger.

Ha! Indeed it would! I should upload the court room scene in which those giant fruits and vegetables are brought into the court room as evidence in support of Professor Brainard's defense against charges brought by the evil Alonzo Hawk!
