No, Pairing will be done once, and not need to be done again unless you get a new device (either a new PlayBook or new BlackBerry smartphone).

It's a feature designed for BlackBerry phones and BlackBerry tablets, it gives users who would use something like Poynt incentive to switch. Poynt along won't cause a user to switch, but it at least will peak their interest somewhat.
