She's the "Frank Sinatra" of female singers. She's Doris Day - PERFECT phrasing and diction and musicality. Vastly under-rated. She's fantastic. I love Garland and Steisand but they were both (admittedly) "belters" - they loved to hit a song hard and loud. Doris always sings with an emotional reserve but with a straightforwardness and honesty that's just perfect. And she's incredibly versatile - see "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps." And don't tell me she doesn't know how to be sexy!
Play this song ONE time on a morning show or commercial and it will sell a million copies.
