i have also have a 1989 f 250 with the five speed. when i shift though and i push the clutch in to shift up it kinda rocks the truck alot i was just wondering if this was common with these trucks since they are so powerful. it was previously my grandpas truck and he power shifted it for the 380 thousand miles that it has on it could this also affect the dropping of the clutch?

@slowpoke560 it ended up being the box's shaft was slightly differently orientated and it needed an alignment basically to get it straight

I rarelly down shift to. If I do, I rev match. And my clutch has 376,000 miles on it and still going fine, not sliping at all :)
