@MrBeastlybiscuit All cards, besides lands and a few other specific exceptions, are considered "spells" before they resolve. In the case of creatures if they successfully resolve (aren't countered or otherwise stopped while on the stack), they no longer are considered spells but actual creatures. So, simply, he casts two creatures that turn and is able to play the Vengevine from his graveyard.

can any one helpo me im new to magic and i dont understand how you can cast 2 creature spells in 1 turn to get vengvine by creature spell does it just mean cast a creature and a spell 2 count as 2 creature spells?
